Mission Log: A Roddenberry Star Trek Podcast (TV & Film)

Things are tense on Deep Space Nine. Everyone is talking about choosing sides between Commander Sisko and Major Kira. Meanwhile, they are actually leading opposing sides! The only ones acting normal are Odo and Quark. Could all of this weirdness have to do with that Klingon who beamed aboard right after blowing up his ship and right before dying? Did THAT have to do with the psychic orbs his crew was researching? How will this play out? Hang on to the heaviest piece of cargo you can find! We are putting Dramatis Personae in the Mission Log.

Major Kira works to avert a crisis, while Nog and Jake pursue an opportunity. Kira trades the stubbornness of the past for her chosen path, while Nog and Jake trade yamok sauce for self-sealing stem bolts, which they then trade for land. Kira proves something to herself, while Nog proves something to his uncle. It is Progress heading into the Mission Log.

The Ennis and the Nol-Ennis hate each other. Really hate each other. They've hated each other for so long, their people can't even remember why they hate or why they fight. It's into this never-ending war that Sisko, Kira, Bashir and special guest Kai Opaka find themselves - learning that if you can't die, the fight never ends. Battle Lines are drawn on this week's Mission Log.

A heist gone bad may be good news for Odo. The accused in the case says he has met other Changelings like Odo. He can even take Odo to them! Of course, the guy is a criminal - and he seems to do quite a bit of dissembling as well. But his shapeshifting key and the stories he knows… Could they all be the key to Odo’s origins? Find out when we put Vortex in the Mission Log.

It is a well known and established scientific fact that humanoids use about one one-millionth of their brains, leaving plenty of room for someone’s consciousness to hitch a lift, if they had a mind to. A criminal mastermind has done just that on Deep Space Nine. But where is the stowaway? In the security person? Or the other security person? Or the doctor? Find out when we put The Passenger into the Mission Log.
